On October 17, 2026, in Nuremberg, the nun Aravindini Giri will hold a theoretical and practical seminar entitled “The Wisdom of the Five Bodies and the Power of Intention”, dedicated to the traditional teaching of the five sheaths of the human being, conscious work with the body and mind, and the formation of intention.
The teaching of the five sheaths makes it possible to systematically examine the interrelationship between physical condition, vital energy, mental processes, intellect, and the deeper states of consciousness. At the seminar, this classical framework will be explained in relation to daily discipline and the practice of self-observation.
Main Topics of the Seminar
The following topics will be addressed during the meeting:
the proper attitude toward the physical body and maintaining a beneficial lifestyle;
the structure of the subtle body and its connection with physical condition and character traits;
the three functional components of the subtle body;
intention as a guiding factor of thought and action;
the gradual transformation of established habits and life circumstances;
working with subconscious impressions;
cleansing unfavorable mental imprints.
Theoretical and Practical Sections
The seminar includes a structured presentation of traditional views on the physical and mental organization of the human being, as well as practical sessions led by Aravindini Giri.
The program includes:
breathing exercises;
methods for cleansing and harmonizing vital energy;
traditional mantras;
meditation practices;
selected exercises from the Taoist tradition, presented with an indication of their origin and practical purpose.
The practices are aimed at developing mindfulness, inner composure, and a disciplined attitude toward the body, breath, and the activity of the mind.
Ganesha Puja
As part of the meeting, Gaṇeśa-pūjā—a traditional ritual honoring Ganesha—will be held. In the Hindu tradition, Ganesha is honored before the beginning of significant undertakings as Vighneśvara—“Lord of Obstacles,” who removes obstacles from the path of a righteous endeavor.
