We will talk about the law of karma from a deeper point of view.
In our body there are nadis, pranas, and bindu. With regard to the nadis, everything is clear to everyone. If you have studied the basic teaching, you are also familiar with pranas and should know that there are five main and five additional pranas that move through the seventy-two thousand nadis. Depending on where the pranas are located and how pure the nadis are, we experience different states of mind.
If your pranas are activated in the area of the forehead, then your essential consciousness is activated, and therefore there is a tendency to be in emptiness, to desire meditation, or at least to have a philosophical view of the world.
If the pranas are activated in the area of the svadhisthana chakra and the nadis are purified, then there will be a tendency to manifest the natural state through poetry, artistry, through playful situations, facial expressions, and gestures. If the nadis are impure and the pranas gather in the area of svadhisthana, then there will be no possibility of manifesting the natural state; there will only be sexual desire, the desire to communicate, chatter, laugh, simply to act in some active and chaotic way.
If the pranas have gathered in the throat and the channels of the throat are purified, then there will be a desire to practice the Dharma and to be in presence; great clarity, impeccability, attentiveness, precision, neatness, responsibility for what you do, fidelity to your words, principles, and ideals will arise, as well as excellent orientation in the setting, the ability to arrange harmoniously, that is, without confusion, everything you do in your life. But if the channels are clogged in the vishuddha chakra, you will be as if lost, or you will talk a lot, but your words will have no power. This is how nadis and pranas work, and a person depends very strongly on the state of his nadis and pranas.
Essential Creative Drops
But there is also a principle called bindu. Bindu are essential drops, or creative drops. This is the most mystical aspect of the teaching. It is believed that there is one main, most subtle essential bindu that is directly connected with the Clear Light and passes from one life to another. That is, during rebirth the stream of our consciousness, connected with the Clear Light, passes into another body, and this subtle creative bindu also passes into another body.
What is this subtle creative bindu? One could say that it is the subtlest drop; it is the subtle light of the elements of earth, water, fire, wind, and space at the most subtle level. It is subtle light in an unbound and highly concentrated form. This creative drop enters the fertilized egg at the moment of union, and it is precisely this that gives the potential to become or not become a future fetus, an embryo. If this creative bindu, and consequently the Clear Light that gives potential to all the pranas, does not enter the egg, then the embryo will not begin to form. That is, whether a human being is born or not depends on whether this subtlest creative bindu enters the egg or not.

What happens during rebirth? During rebirth, the personal karma of the living being acts upon this subtlest creative particle, the bindu. Subtle winds that pass into the new birth act upon this stream and bindu. Coarse winds, such as apana, samana, and vyana, do not pass into the new birth, but there are subtle winds that are more closely connected with consciousness. These are karmic winds, which can also be called samskaras, imprints. In the bardo they act upon this subtlest creative bindu, and then it is seized by them, drawn toward the womb of the future mother, enters the fertilized egg, and lays the foundation for the formation of the future fetus.
This bindu is eternal and is reborn together with the essential light, with consciousness. There are also other bindus, creative drops, that exist in our body. But unlike this most important essential drop, the other four creative drops live as long as our body lives. All of you know about chakras and elements, and if we correlate bindu with the chakras, then bindu is the subtle essence of the chakra; it is the drops located in the chakras; it is the elements in their purest form.
The Four Main Creative Drops
There are four kinds of such main creative drops:
- One of them is located in the area between the eyebrows. It is connected with the body and with surface consciousness. Thanks to it, we perceive this world, because it is activated.
- Another essential drop is located in the throat. Thanks to it, vibration and perceived speech exist, and we perceive the world with dreams. For example, in dream yoga it is recommended to concentrate on the vishuddha chakra, because in this way this creative drop, responsible for generating dreams, is engaged.
- The next essential drop is located in the region of the heart, or in the anahata chakra. It is connected with the state of dreamless sleep. The four sessions into which the period of practicing night dream yoga is divided are connected precisely with taking into account the action of these drops.
- The next drop is located in the navel, in the manipura chakra. This drop is connected with the deepest awareness of the Clear Light. It is believed to be experienced at the moment of the outpouring of powerful energy inherent in orgasm or in the processes of kundalini yoga, which are essentially one and the same. In the case of kundalini yoga, processes similar to orgasm occur, but pure energy is released that is not connected with any object or sexual desire. This energy does not dissipate, but simply begins to circulate.
These four drops have their own characteristics. All of them are coarser than the subtlest primary drop connected with the Clear Light.

Purification of the Creative Drops and Karmic Vision
What else is said about the states when we are awake, or dreaming, or sleeping without dreams, or experiencing peak moments of bliss? The energetic winds of karma connected with this experience gather respectively in the area of the creative drops of the body, speech, consciousness, or deep consciousness, but they do not gather inside the central channel. And the task of the yogin, when he works with pranas or concentrates on the chakras, is to purify these creative drops. If the creative drops are purified, the winds gradually begin to enter the central channel. If they are not purified, then these drops are the source of karmic vision.
These drops are called creative, creating, because they form the external visible world and all our perception. Perhaps you have had an experience when you concentrated on the chakras, and as a result consciousness began to change, as if to thicken, and the surroundings also changed. This happens because you engage the potential of these drops, and they begin to project another world in a subtle form.
For example, no matter what a person is like, if he begins to concentrate on the anahata chakra, his drop connected with awareness will begin to generate the qualities of generosity, love, renown, glory, and the like, and the world around him will gradually begin to change as well. And if a person concentrates on the vishuddha chakra, then the drop located in it will begin to change the space around him, and if he concentrates for a long time, he will notice that other elements begin to dominate in his life.
For example, when I began practicing concentration on the vishuddha chakra, the nature of the offerings that were made to me changed. Literally after three days, people began to offer me complex equipment, things connected with sound, and a conch. All of this clearly pointed to the element of space, to sound, and to the vibration inherent in the vishuddha chakra. If I concentrate on the manipura chakra, then questions usually arise concerning the construction of buildings, the allocation of land, and other such things. I see how the nature of service, activity, or connections in the external world changes. If I concentrate on the sahasrara chakra, then no question arises about anything at all. It is simply as if I am not in this world.
Thus, when you concentrate for a long time, your creative drops begin to generate the energy of a certain world, and therefore various worlds connected with karmic vision are created.

We experience this world by means of the drop located in the forehead; we experience dream sleep on the basis of the drop located in the throat; dreamless sleep on the basis of the drop located in the heart; strong energy of bliss and deep awareness on the basis of the drop located in the manipura chakra.
The Operation of the Law of Karma Through the Creative Drops
How does the law of karma operate? When we do something, the pranas condense in the area of a particular drop, and this drop is either purified or polluted. Why are sins and the rebirths to which they lead described in the “Garuda Purana”? The point is that through bad activity, through impure actions, some drop becomes heavily polluted and begins to generate polluted karmic vision, and this in turn influences rebirth in the next life. Conversely, when a drop is purified, the world it generates is also purified.
In what case do the drops not become polluted and not generate polluted vision, that is, karmic traces do not arise? Only when your consciousness continuously abides in a pure state. For example, when there is no electricity in the external world, this means that information about light does not exist in some drop. Light is connected with the ajna chakra, energy is connected with manipura, and the ability to conduct it is a drop connected with vibrations. Obviously, there is a lack of merit at the level of the three drops, which is what makes it impossible today to perceive light at this lecture.
If our drops are purified, then, accordingly, something will appear here as well. This is difficult to understand; it seems that one simply needs to invest money and work with one’s hands for something to appear. This is, of course, so. But on a subtler level, for something to appear, one simply needs to have pure consciousness, pure drops, and then you find yourself in the world where all of this appears, where all of it simply already exists without the need to undertake anything. It is precisely the drops, if they are polluted, that generate karmic vision in which something exists or, conversely, something does not exist.

By what are the drops purified? From the point of view of energy, they are purified by observing the commandments and by purifying the channels. From the point of view of consciousness — through pure vision. And in the absolute sense — through maintaining the true contemplation of the Clear Light.
