The Art of Sankalpa

The Art of Perception Management. The Path to Enlightenment in One Lifetime.

This teaching is practiced at the level of Anuttara Tantra, the highest yoga. In it, the primary emphasis is placed on the instantaneous recognition (pratyabhijna) of one's true nature. This is why realization in a single lifetime is possible through such practice. This yoga does not depend on external conditions. It can be practiced at work, at home, at university, on the subway, and of course, in a temple or at pilgrimage sites. Unlike classical meditation (dhyana), which requires solitude, contemplative sankalpa is a method of integration into daily activity.

The transmission of this knowledge strictly relies on the principle of Guru Yoga and the observance of samayas (spiritual commitments). The teaching is transmitted within the framework of parampara (lineage), connecting modern practitioners with ancient siddhas. Thus, this course is intended only for the Guru's disciples who have taken refuge in the tradition.

Key aspects of the practice:

  1. Integration and Non-duality: The practice allows for transcending the dualism between the "meditator" and the "object of meditation."
  2. Emotional Resilience and Transformation: Regular work with contemplative sankalpas forms an elevated emotional background and resilience to any stress or negativity. This is not the suppression of emotions, but their deep understanding and transformation through self-liberation, self-transcendence, and self-recognition.
  3. Closing the Circle of Day and Night: For advanced practitioners, the methods of Anuttara Tantra allow for achieving continuous awareness of the Clear Light, passing from the state of wakefulness into dreaming and deep sleep.

This course is aimed at seekers striving to achieve moksha (liberation) within a single lifetime. Training is recommended for yogis who already have foundational training in mindfulness practices, dharana (concentration), and mahashanti meditation.

“The body and mind of a yogi are like a boat, the great space of the Mind is like an ocean, sankalpa is like an anchor holding the boat in the ocean and saving it from the huge waves that cast it upon the shore of samsara.”

Swami Vishnudevananda Giri Maharaj

The application of contemplative sankalpas is a direct path to the realization of happiness that does not depend on external factors and the unfolding of the divine potential inherent in every being.
