THE SCIENCE OF MEDITATION ON THE SYLLABLE "OM"
The vibration of Om is the key to the mysteries of consciousness. The practice is distinguished by its simplicity, yet it grants a rapid immersion into the sacred depths of the mind. This course will serve as a guiding thread for true seekers whose primary goal is the realization of the Supreme Truth and enlightenment.
COURSE FEATURES
This transmission of the Om meditation method goes beyond simple mantra repetition. It involves internal methods of directing attention that open access to the depths of the true Self.
1. Working with the Dvadashanta region
The central aspect of this transmission is working with the dvadashanta (Skt. dvādaśānta — "twelve fingers"). According to tantric texts, this is the subtle space above the crown of the head (sahasrara chakra), where individual consciousness dissolves into the absolute. The practice is aimed at raising prana through the central channel (sushumna), which is a necessary condition for achieving the state of samadhi.
2. Metaphysics of Sound Vibration
The Om mantra is regarded as the vibration of Brahman — Sat-Chit-Ananda (Being-Consciousness-Bliss). The correct application of the method allows the practitioner to reach a state of emptiness, in which the mind is purified of emotional impurities and achieves deep peace.
3. Institutional Lineage
The effectiveness of the practice is determined not only by technical execution but also by the power of lineage (Parampara).
Om (Skt. ॐ, auṃ) — the primary sound symbol known in the Vedic tradition as Pranava (Skt. praṇava). A mantra is the sound body of a deity. In the case of the pranava Om, it is the vibration of the Absolute itself. Therefore, its practice is highly effective for those who wish to realize enlightenment in a state beyond names and forms.
"Om is Brahman. Om is all this (the whole world)."
> — Taittiriya Upanishad (1.8.1)
