Give up personal Enlightenment for the sake of serving others.
If you feel that Liberation has come to you, say to it: "Go to the one who needs you, and I will serve the Dharma and the sangha without hopes and fears."
Be humbler than a blade of grass thrown on the road; do not think highly of yourself. The saints say: "Who is not a fool before the Lord?"
Do not attach importance to your experiences; treat them like dirt. To overestimate your experiences is to underestimate God. God is always above any experiences.
Think less:
- about yourself;
- about your Enlightenment;
- about the Enlightenment of others;
- about what you think of yourself and others;
- about what others think of you.
Think more about God, about Dattatreya.
Remember, being a monk means something, and first and foremost — possessing faith and compassion.
Do not attach any importance to any of your own thoughts; it is like a dream within a dream, God is above them. However, holding onto thoughts that are in harmony with the words of saints and the scriptures is right.
Always remember the Creed and the Refuge, placing them above your "self."
Remember — the ego is unworthy to enter the transcendental world.
Remember — Maya never sleeps, and your weapon is faith. Faith and devotion are above the mind.
