Confidence in one's identity with the Absolute — "I am Brahman" (Aham Brahmasmi), confidence in the identity with the Supreme Source of all worlds, gods, and phenomena — Shiva, "I am Shiva", without any admixture of division into subject and objects — such is the true vision (jnana-drishti) of all saints and awakened ones of our lineage.
Abiding in this vision without distraction, diversion, or error, relying on the skillful methods held by the masters in their hearts like a magical jewel — such is it, the true contemplation of Brahman, nididhyasana-kriya: continuous, clear, stable, like a mountain; flowing, like a river; all-consuming and purifying, like fire; light, playful, and unattached, like the wind; boundless, containing everything within itself, like space.
Such is it — the true conduct (charya): following the precepts of the Avadhuta Shri Datta; spontaneously free in three dimensions; playfully following its own will, inseparable from the will of Ishvara; taking into account the play of the Great Goddess — Shakti, place, time, and circumstances; making all circumstances a path for practice; rejecting nothing and clinging to nothing; guided by the liberating descending grace of Lord Shiva (anugraha), love, and compassion; always aimed at the welfare of all living beings.
